Survival Log Mods and Workshop

Check the official Survival Log mod and Steam Workshop status, understand the save and malware risks of unknown tools, and use safe in-game customization.

There are no official mod tools or Workshop support

The official team gave a direct warning during the demo period: third-party files from unknown sources may contain trojans or account-stealing software, and modified saves can create data errors or crashes that make bug reports difficult to diagnose.

What is officially supported instead

Custom Difficulty

The full release includes Custom Difficulty, so players can tune the pressure without replacing game files. This is the safest way to create a calmer farm-focused run or a more demanding survival challenge.

Endless Mode

Endless Mode provides a long-term sandbox for testing safehouse layouts, resource chains and defenses after the normal campaign horizon.

Steam updates and Cloud saves

Use Steam to keep the executable and data current. Steam Cloud is officially listed, but it is not a substitute for caution: a modified save can still become inconsistent.

How to recognize a real modding update

Wait for an official development post, a Steam feature update or Workshop integration on the store page. A download page using the game's name is not proof of authorization.
